On December 6th, 2011 OccupyAtlanta began the occupation of the Pittmanhome at 404 Glen Iris Dr. Atlanta, GA 30308. This video does what it can to tell the story of the PIttman family and why their home is occupied. After the illness and death of the homeowner Chase Bank immediately moved to foreclose and now evict the Pittman family. The late homeowner, Mrs. Eloise Mallory Pittman, passed away on November 29th. As the family has been preparing for her funeral, to be held on December 10th, Chase Bank representatives have knocked on the door offering $1500 for the family to walk away from a home that has been in the family since 1953.
