We have a ton of suburbs here and none are alike. If you’re going to Douglasville, where I live, you can expect it to be boring as hell. There’s really not much else to say about it.
At your age, most of your activities will be focused around the friends you make at school.
While it’s difficult to move to any new city as a teen, if you’re outgoing, friendly and make it a point to ‘get involved,’ you’ll find your niche and a group of kids you’re sympatico with. Suburban Atlanta is different than Philadelphia, and I wouldn’t even try to make a comparison. Go with the flow and look at this as an adventure . I’m sure it will all work out.
