well I’m suppose to be going to school in Kennesaw,GA @ KSU… I’ve been looking @ info on that area and like how it seems to be a nice size town/city that’s not too country and still have some sort of civilization and a city feel..but not too much…it’s located about 15-20mins from Atlanta so I liked that it would be not too far to go out and have fun on weekends..idk check out some info about Kennesaw,GA you will probly like it

sandy springs, alpharetta, marietta, roswell, decatur, kennesaw, duluth, dunwoody, are all good family oriented places to live. sandy springs probably has your best townhomes because it is the largest city

You should also look at vinings. Vinings is a neighborhood on the northwest side of Atlanta. It’s barely in the city limits. It’s perfect for people that want to live in the city and have a suburban feel

I sold a townhouse in Smyrna (which is right next to Vinings — but much cheaper!) You’d like it there; it’s accessible to town. There are great community events (like fairs, concerts, etc.) There are people from all walks of life representing an array of ethnicities. The library is great with a bunch of activities for kids. The community center has a gym that’s free to residents of Smyrna.

Check it out! (The two better elementary schools are King Springs and Teasley, with Knickajack a close runner-up.)

Henry Co. (Jonesboro, Stockbridge, Hampton, and McDonough) is only 20-40 minutes outside Atlanta and offers a great selection of schools, homes, and entertainment. It’s the one of the fastest growing areas in the world. Also Clayton Co. (Morrow, Riverdale, Forest Park, and Fayetteville) is a little closer (10-20 minutes away) but in my opinion not as “safe” or “suburb”ish

Both counties are considered South Metro Atlanta
