It is difficult to compete with the prices of distressed properties so your home must shine in other areas; meticulously maintained, perfect move-in condition, manicured grounds. It is surprisingly easy to achieve a “model” home in a short amount of time on a small budget. Some agents will tell you what you want to hear your home is worth and then constantly ask you for a price reduction when it does not sell.
